consciousness, courage, energy, hope, nature

Gray Day

Absence of color smothers all sentient seeing

Shimmering Drizzling Stillness

Blackened sparrows dart across the tender expanse of humid space hurrying on toward warms nests feathered with last year’s glory

Shimmering Misty Stillness

A solid white cruiser cuts through shallow depths pressing eagerly toward safe harbor and promises of a cold brew

Shimmering Soaking Stillness

My attention wavers between the glassy wet mesmerizing surface and the gentle swirl of a muted inner monologue beckoning toward colorless truths

Shimmering Stillness

The rose bushes persist in a stoic response to the chill cold cloud cover pressing helplessly downward, while Mother Nature laughs at all this fucking drama, shocking roots with the happy power of pink rose petals

tomorrow to protest joyfully

Shimmering Still
